Hu Dingyu ( b. 1934 ) Jingyan, Sichuan

Hu graduated from the art department of Southwest Normal Univesity (Chengdu) in 1957, joined its faculty, and later became vice-chairman of the department before moving, in 1987, to Chongqing where he became associate professor and chair of the business art department of Chongqing Business University. He has been a member of the Chinese Artists'Association and Chinese Printmakers' Association, and member of the council of the Sichuan Artists'Association

Hu Dingyu with Li Yingjin, Lei Jiutai, Du Pu 103. Fighting the Ba Mountain A Cultural Revolution collective work, the print is in the style of Feng Zhongtie, who may have assisted in its creation. Except for Hu Dingyu, the artists' are not listed in standard dictionaries of artists' biographies and may have been students or amateurs.
