Museum of Art Ein Harod, Israel

I am very happy to know that your museum will hold an exhibition Half a Century of Chinese Woodblock Prints in December of this year. I wish to take this opportunity to express my sincerest and warmest congradulations to you.

China's New Woodblock Movement advocated by the great writer Lu Xun, and having more than 60 years of glorious history, has been exhibited on a large scale many times in the world and has a high reputation in international art circles. This time the exhibition Half a Century of Chinese Woodblock Prints being held in your museum is the biggest art exhibition of our country in Israel since China and Israel established diplomatic relations. More than 30 famous artists and 100 works are being exhibited. It basically reflects the history of the development and standard of art of the new woodblock print of our country. I'm sure this exhibition will play a positive role making the most of the national culture of our country and promoting art exchanges between the two countries, China and Israel, and enhancing the friendship between the people of the two countries.

I wish to extend my sincerest thanks for the commendable work that your museum has done for this exhibition!

May the exhibition enjoy a full success.
